Direct Marketing Manager


Immediate opening for an experienced direct marketing manager with the UK’s leading wigs, hairpiece and hair extensions retailer and distributor. The ideal candidate will come from management level with a background of consumer product marketing with a proven track record in catalogue and mail campaigns, plus all aspects of online marketing.

Relevant Experience/Skills

• Passion and relevant experience in product marketing. We are a wig and hair extensions company who’s customers range from fashion buyers in their teens through to medical needs customers through to women who have lost their hair though the process of ageing.

• Direct marketing experience in catalogues, mail order and online essential (DRTV a ‘nice to have’)

• Online experience essential. Website development, online product maintenance, email blasts, social networking (maintaining Facebook, YouTube, Twitter), always moving the website forward to what’s relevant for the customer.

• PR experience (in fashion, hairstyling, beauty is a ‘nice to have’)

• Creative! Hands-on creative production. Copywriting. Design and/or photoshop/layout experience preferred.

• Incredible organization. Marketing planning & budget development / control.

• Direct customer recruitment via print advertising, online

• Customer retention / acquisition strategy development.

• External supplier relationship development – print production, creative houses, mail houses, ad agency, PR, modeling agencies, web developers, online agencies

The purpose of this role is to be the product champion across different brands, including Hothair and Natural Image, through the mix of direct marketing channels.

The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the planning, design, development and effective market implementation and measurement of all strategic and tactical marketing activity covering all communication channels to achieve target demand.
