A super sleek ponytail at ‘Chanel’.

Ombre hair at ‘Prada’.

Dark hair that gently blends into a lighter colour at the bottom- yes girls, ombre hair is the way to go and will be all the way through 2013. Get the look, as seen at Prada, with Hairdo’s deluxe ombre extensions. These lush extensions come in six glowing tones and the Tru2life fibre means that you can heat-style them to perfection to add curls or style them straight. Alternatively, try getting the ombre look with the Hot Hair 5 piece 19″ Human Hair Extensions. Try them in a colour one tone lighter than your hair and clip them in at the nape of the neck, so that the ombre effect peeps through at the bottom. Clip them on, blend them in and don’t forget to strike a pose!

A beautiful updo at ‘Valentino’

Buns and updo’s are the order for this year’s catwalks and whether low or high, tight or tousled, they look fantastic for any occasion. Create the look with the gorgeous new Texture Wrap hairpiece by Hairdo, which features lightly crimped slices of hair for added texture and volume. Tie your hair up into a small ponytail or bun and wrap it around for a neat fit. The Texture Wrap is made out of Tru2Life fibre, so you can heat-style it on a low heat. Alternatively, get the look with with Hairdo’s Clip in Updo hairpiece. Just tie your hair up and clip it in for a perfect updo in an instant!

The perfect fringe, at ‘Marni’.

Fringes are the way to go this season. They’re bold, eye-catching and will pep up your hairstyle a treat on those cold winter days. We loved the super-straight, blunt fringe which we spotted on a model at Marni. Get the look with Hairdo’s ‘Fringe with Wisps’, which features clever tendrils of hair at the side to help you blend it in with your own hairstyle. Simply clip it in and comb it flat for a poker straight look. For a softer look, try Hairdo’s fabulous NEW ‘Side Swept Fringe’, which features lots of layers, cut to create the perfect side fringe look!

Mermaid waves at ‘Cavalli’.

Soft, ruffled mermaid waves are the way forward for this year’s winter season, as demonstrated by Roberto Cavalli. Get the look with the gorgeous ’20” styleable softwave extensions’ by Hairdo which feature perfectly set waves and will clip into your hair within minutes. Or, give Kate Middleton a run for her money and get the look with ‘Wild’– a beautifully natural wig with gorgeous curls which look freshly tonged wear after wear. Finish the look by taking a small section from each side, twisting them and pinning in the middle for hair that’ll make everyone green with envy!

Hothair’s Hot Picks for 2012

Here are our top predictions for 2012’s HOTTEST hair looks AND how to get them.

1. Mermaid Waves

Jessica Biel

Hair that looks naturally dried with a hint of wave is beautiful and simple. To get this beachy wavy look, tousle dry your hair and apply some testruizing wax to ensure the texture of your own hair matched the extensions. Then clip in these Jessica Simpson Soft Wave Extensions for instant long mermaid locks!

2. Colour Flashes

Katy Perry

Coloured hair is everywhere! On the catwalk, on celebrities, and here at Hothair!

Get the look with no commitment and all the fun with these easy to use clip in coloured extensions. Styleable and fun strips of high quality synthetic or human hair.

3. Heavy Fringe

Get Quirky & Flirty like Zooey Deschanel.

Zooey Deschanel

Can’t commit to cutting your fringe? Clip one in like this Jessica Simpson Clip in True 2 Life Fringe. The longer sides blend in with your own hair and you can adjust the height by clipping it back a little further.

4. The Ponytail

Jennifer Morrison

Whether worn High or Low this trend is one that just keeps going… and going…..

Wear it like Jennifer Morrison (from House) with a small braid to disguise the band. Our Xpress ponytail is perfect as it has a braided band already included!

5. Big Curls

Big hair is … well… Big news!

Cher Lloyd

Get Cher Lloyds look by creating curls with barrel tongs through the front part of your hair.

Then clip in the Barbie 3/4 hairpiece leaving your fringe  & front part of your hair forward. Once it is clipped in, toss the hair back covering the join for a full on wavy look.
